AFFIDAVIT OF SERVICE

MARC NAHRO EXECUTIVE BOARD

Term: 2025-27

I acknowledge that I have been duly elected or appointed to serve on the MARC NAHRO Executive Board for my specified term of office.

I understand that:

• The Board will meet, at a minimum, twice annually, either virtually or in-person. The Regional President may convene additional meetings as needed.

• My commitment to serve on the MARC NAHRO Executive Board entails not only being fully engaged in Board deliberations, but also doing my part to ensure that MARC NAHRO continues to remain financially viable.

By signing below, I agree to the following responsibilities:

• Attend and participate in regional conferences as a paid and registered conference delegate.

• Encourage colleagues and business partners to support the conference as delegates and vendors/sponsors.

• Participate in NAHRO Professional Development programs (entering the regional code MARC2020 when registering for a virtual classroom, which enables the region to earn revenue).

• Engage in advocacy by writing letters or making calls to my congressional representatives upon request.

• Participate in Housing America events, including the Poster Contest and the Merit College Scholarship.

• Engage in fundraising for the region’s Mary E. Paumen Scholarship for International and Domestic Leadership Development.

I understand that serving on the MARC NAHRO Executive Board requires a sacrifice of time and resources. Therefore, I affirm that the individual listed below (supervisor or Board chair) supports my service on the Executive Board.
