MARC-NAHRO Announces Winners of Regional Awards

To MARC-NAHRO Members,

Winners of MARC-NAHRO Awards of Excellence and Awards of Merit will be recognized at the MARC-NAHRO General Membership Meeting on Monday, May 8, 2006 at the Marriott Marquis at Times Square in NYC.

The winning Agencies will be recognized with a framed certificate, photo opportunities, and an awards luncheon program (there is a nominal pre-registration fee for the luncheon program—see the Preliminary Program on http://www.marcnahro.org/ ). Winning Agencies and their colleagues are invited to the Program.

Winning Agencies are also invited to set up a small display in the Exhibit hall. Space is provided free. For additional information, contact Herb Siegel, Conference Coordinator at herbsiegel@prodigy.net

Each year local NAHRO Member Chapters compete for national awards of merit and excellence. MARC-NAHRO participates in the process by reviewing the NAHRO applications originating with its Member Agencies. MARC-NAHRO judges the best for its own awards ceremony at its Annual Membership Meeting.

In the list below are the winners by category. The Region’s Awards Committee acts on its own, but the criteria used at the Regional level are the same as the criteria used at the National level.

Don't forget to register for this years Annual Conference, space is limited and going fast.
